Terms for using Casewell.

What Casewell does

Casewell helps separated parents keep their own private records in an organised timeline. You can create records, attach supporting files, track expenses, preview exports, and create PDFs for your own use or professional review.

Not legal, safeguarding, or professional advice

Casewell does not provide legal, safeguarding, financial, medical, therapeutic, or other professional advice. Casewell does not guarantee that any record, attachment, AI rewrite, expense summary, or export will be accepted by a court, solicitor, lawyer, mediator, adviser, therapist, school, local authority, police force, or other professional.

Your responsibilities

Only add records, screenshots, photos, receipts, documents, or other files that you are allowed to keep and use. Do not use Casewell for harassment, surveillance, secret tracking, unlawful recording, intimidation, or contacting another person against their wishes. Review every record and export for accuracy before relying on it or sharing it. Get independent legal, safeguarding, or professional advice where appropriate. Keep your device, passcode, backups, cloud accounts, and exported files secure.

Private records and exports

Records are private to your app unless you choose to export or share them. Once you export or share content, you are responsible for the recipient, destination, and consequences of that sharing. Casewell cannot control files after they leave the app.

Subscriptions, trials, and purchases

Casewell Premium may include a free trial where configured in the App Store or Google Play. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically at the store-confirmed price unless cancelled before renewal. Current launch pricing is GBP 2.99 per week for weekly access or GBP 49.99 per year for annual access after the trial, subject to store localization, taxes, territory availability, and future changes shown by the store before purchase.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Restore purchases is available in the app where store purchases are enabled.

Paid access and features

Casewell Premium unlocks record, supporting file, export, and eligible AI rewrite features while the trial or subscription is active. If a trial or subscription ends, Premium must be restored or restarted to continue using the app.

AI rewriting

AI rewriting is optional and only a drafting aid. You must review AI output before saving or sharing it. AI should not add facts that you did not provide, and Casewell is not responsible for decisions made from unreviewed or inaccurate AI text.

Availability and changes

Casewell may change, pause, remove, or improve features over time, including pricing, entitlement rules, export formats, AI availability, and backend providers. We aim to avoid removing access to existing local records, but online services, purchases, AI, restore flows, and support channels may depend on third-party availability.

Privacy

Casewell's privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using Casewell, you acknowledge that sensitive records should be handled carefully and that exports or shared files may be processed by the services or people you send them to.
